The Deer Park (Hoar Cross)

Brand identity · Farm shop & restaurant

Context

Commissioned to create a brand identity for The Deer Park, an organic farm shop and restaurant selling farm-produced food, local housewares, and products from nearby businesses.
The brand needed to sit comfortably within an architect-designed building and reflect the site’s farming heritage and ethos.

Accessibility & Design Approach

  • Logo icon designed to be simple, recognisable, and scalable

  • Worked within a predefined colour palette and typographic direction

  • Icon concepts rooted in farming and heritage, avoiding unnecessary detail

  • Forms designed to remain clear across signage, print, and digital use

Collaboration

Worked closely with the client, web designer, and developer to ensure the brand was applied consistently and met the client’s architectural and visual requirements.

Outcome

A considered, distinctive brand mark that aligns with the building, values, and rural setting, supporting a cohesive identity across physical and digital touchpoints.

Why This Matters

By prioritising clarity, legibility, and scalability, the brand works reliably across real-world environments — demonstrating accessible graphic design that supports wayfinding, recognition, and everyday usability.
